Golf is for Everyone: Breaking Barriers on the Course

As a golf professional and coach, I’ve seen firsthand how transformative golf can be for people of all backgrounds. Yet, for many years, golf has carried the perception of exclusivity. At Alice Brown Golf, my mission is to change that. Golf is not just a sport—it’s a lifelong journey, and it belongs to everyone.
From kids as young as four to seniors rediscovering their swing in retirement, golf offers unique benefits for every age and skill level. It’s a space for personal growth, discipline, community, and joy. Regardless of your gender, race, background, or ability, you have a place on the course.
Breaking barriers means offering flexible schedules, welcoming environments, and customized instruction tailored to your learning style. It also means showing up and seeing someone who looks like you—whether that’s a woman teaching the class or a diverse group of golfers playing together. Representation matters, and I am proud to be part of a movement that is diversifying the face of golf.
Inclusion isn’t just about being invited—it’s about being supported once you arrive. That’s why I prioritize creating a positive, judgment-free environment where each student is seen, heard, and valued. Through group clinics, youth programs, and private lessons, I’ve had the pleasure of helping hundreds of students find their footing and flourish in this sport.
Golf teaches important life skills—patience, focus, confidence, and resilience. Everyone deserves the opportunity to develop those skills. Whether you’re aiming for a college scholarship or simply want a hobby that brings peace and joy, the course is your classroom.
At Alice Brown Golf, we’re not just teaching swings—we’re opening doors. The fairway is open to all. Let’s walk it together and make golf truly a game for everyone.
